Announcement for summer internship in Lisbon

The Relational Models lab group at CIS, ISCTE-IUL, Lisbon provides two positions for two summer internships in online research methods. The internship runs from Sept. 5 through Sep. 30 2011 (a shorter period is also possible) and involves the programming and analyzing of online studies applying relational models theory.

Interns should have a strong interest in experimental social psychology.

Prerequisites:

– Bachelor in Psychology/Social Psychology

– Fluency in English

– Basic knowledge of SPSS

– Studies will be conducted using Qualtrics and/or programming in XML. Applicants should have good knowledge of text processing software and Windows, and interest in learning new software. Basic knowledge in programming HTML is required, as is familiarity in programming. Knowledge in programming Javascript or Flash and knowledge in experimental software such as Authorware, E-Prime, Inquisit, or DMDX is advantageous, but not required.
